The co-founder of Holly’s House, former RAINN speaker and author of Sole Survivor was a featured author for the Junior League of Richmond 73rd Annual Book and Author event held in Richmond, Virginia.

Dunn stated, “I am truly thankful for a second chance at life. I made a choice to either crawl into a hole or do something. I so appreciate my second chance at life. If I can give any hope or inspiration, I want my book to get into the hands of those who need it when they need it. You have two choices in life, crawl into a hole or do something. I am a survivor that wants to do something for victims of crimes. I am RESILIENT, I PERSEVERE, I BELIEVE.”

The Sole Survivor scheduled speaking event, held last Thursday, May 10, 2018, was received by a sold-out crowd in Richmond, Virginia by invitation to the Junior League of Richmond 73rd Annual Book and Author Event. Master of Ceremonies and author, Bob Deans stated “This book is a stirring testament to faith. Faith in the human spirit. Faith in one woman’s capacity to heal. And faith in her dogged determination to turn personal tragedy into the power of hope for millions of people around the world. Holly made up her mind — she made the choice — that she would not live out her life in brokenness. That she would not be defined by tragedy, heartbreak, and fear. That she would find a way to raise her voice on behalf of others to help them on their journey toward wholeness.”
