This week in review included the #MarchforLife #WhyWeMarch #LoveSavesLives events sponsored by Solidarity HealthShare and Blaze Productions. The fingerprints of God were marked clearly as many congregated in Washington, D.C. to celebrate life and save the lives of the unborn.

In addition, the #SolidarityHS team hosted their first Washington, D.C. event with emcee EWTN News Nightly anchor, Lauren Ashburn honoring Morningstar OBGYN and Tepeyac Center and Divine Mercy Care leaders in the ProLife movement. The event keynote speaker was Dr. Peter Morrow, President of the Catholic Medical Association.

To conclude the week, Joyce Im Bartholomew, Christian Recording artist performed at the famous DAR Constitution Hall for the #NationalPrayerService. “What Was Your Name” written and recorded by Joyce Im Bartholomew was performed for this year’s 2018 prayer service, hosted by Priests for Life.

Holly K. Dunn Sole Survivor Speaks Out on 20th Anniversary

(Washington, D.C.) Holly K. Dunn, is the Sole Survivor of the notorious serial killer Angel Maturino Reséndiz, aka The Railroad Killer. It was August 28, 1997, 20 years ago, when she and her boyfriend were the victims of the vicious act. Being stabbed, raped, beaten and left for dead, Holly shares her survival from the horrific accounts that happened on that day. 

The People Magazine Hero Among Us is speaking out this anniversary to share her private, never before heard, version of what happened on that day in August 1997.  Holly’s story as the sole survivor of this heinous act has brought healing, meaning and purpose to her life and the lives of many who have been the victims of vicious assaults and horrific crimes. The mission and desire of her life has been the creation of Holly’s House.

Holly K. Dunn, is an inspirational speaker, activist, author, wife and mother. She has pursued this opportunity from being a victim to a survivor and instills this meaning into Holly’s House as a safe and nurturing space in her hometown of Evansville, Indiana. 

“As I remember the 20 year anniversary tragedy on that fateful day on August 28, 1997 it has been my mission and desire in my life to honor Chris’ memory and show victims there is hope and they are survivors. We all face bad circumstances, but you must trust your instincts and heed your attention towards those instincts. I have found after my tragedy there is life after the circumstance, you no longer are a victim, but you can overcome and be a survivor.” 

Holly K. Dunn’s story has been featured on 48 Hours: Live To Tell Series, People Magazine Heroes Among Us, Glamour Magazine Hero of the Month and The Guardian.

Holly Dunn Pendleton is a survivor, a motivator, and a tribute to the human spirit!

The victim of a violent physical and sexual assault and witness to her boyfriend’s murder, Holly has become a beacon of hope and inspiration to many.
Miraculously living to tell her story, Holly motivates others to reclaim their lives after assault, and to help her community build a network of healing and outreach. Holly’s passion to advocate for other victims of violence is extraordinary, and it is this passion that has allowed her and organizations that she is a part of to reach so many people.

Holly’s work includes being the spokesperson for Holly’s House a local sexual abuse and domestic violence advocacy center which she co-founded in her hometown of Evansville, IN. That passion later evolved into her current full-time work as a motivational speaker and trainer, using her own experience and uplifting message to inspire and enlighten.

Today, July 1, 2017 Mission BBQ in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania will be hosting war correspondent, veteran and author, Bob Dvorchak from 1PM-3PM. The #DriveOn Book Tour has been celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the 82nd Airborne and has been participating in Veteran Tribute events around the nation this #4thofJulyWeekend.

Author Bob Dvorchak and publishing house Tactical 16 are raising awareness to heal the invisible wounds of war. The healing process of writing has given many veterans the opportunity to publish their journey of service.

“Tactical 16 wants Veterans to be heard and wants to preserve their individual legacies as we hope they can get some relief from the battles with PTSD, TBI and other service related injuries.” Founder Erik Shaw
